Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University held Online Open Day.

Today, July 31, 2020, our higher educational institution held another Online Open Day. Traditionally, the Rector, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, Executive Secretary of the Admission Committee and representatives of structural subdivisions were waiting for applicants on the Zoom online platform.

At the beginning, the Rector of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University Serhii Savchenko addressed the audience with a welcoming speech: “Dear colleagues, applicants! Time is relentless, and therefore we are already on the verge of the start of the 2020 admission campaign, which actually starts tomorrow. I hope that the choice you make will be in favor of our higher educational institution. Our university is known both in Ukraine and abroad. Those applicants who become our students will receive education of the European level. So make the right choice. We are waiting for you!”

During the online meeting, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Dmytro Uzhchenko and Executive Secretary of the Admission Committee Yaroslava Yurkiv acquainted applicants with some aspects of the 2020 admission campaign. “From August 1 on the official website of our university will be posted a link to the creation of electronic classrooms and additional step-by-step instructions on how to do this. If you have any difficulties, then you can call the representatives of the Admission Committee, who will be happy to help you,” Yaroslava Yurkiv said.

The Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Oleksandr Babichev joined the conversation and told the applicants about the living conditions in dormitories.

Future students and their parents, in turn, actively asked questions about the list of documents required for admission, the schedule of entrance exams and creative competitions, the specifics of admission through the educational center “Donbas-Ukraine”. The applicants were also interested in the peculiarities of admission to colleges without the external independent testing and magistracy.
