The Admission Committee of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University is ready to welcome applicants.

Today, July 30, 2020, the Admission Committee of our Alma Mater began its work. Students and employees of all structural subdivisions during the month are extremely important work – the formation of a contingent of students and the support of a positive image of the university.

During this academic year, the teachers and staff of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University carried out active career guidance: they attended schools and gymnasiums, informed future applicants about the specifics of admission and study at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University in social networks, posted career guidance videos about their structural divisions, distributed printed materials … Quarantine restrictions did not prevent the Open Days, which took place on the Zoom online platform, on a weekly basis.

In the morning, at the opening ceremony of the 2020 admission campaign, employees and students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University gathered in order to savor the positive atmosphere and share their responsibilities. The event was also attended by the chairman of the Academic Council Vitalii Kurylo: “The working group is the heart of the admission committee, because it does the main work and forms an impression about the university among applicants and their parents. Your main task is to make sure that everyone who comes to our higher educational institution stayed here to study, because our university provides high-quality knowledge and a rich student life”. The Rector of the university Serhii Savchenko noted that this year the admissin campaign will be more difficult, because the sanitary norms provided for by quarantine restrictions will slightly restrict actions. Vice-rectors for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Dmytro Uzhchenko and Oleksandr Babichev also addressed the audience with congratulations.

After the official part, the executive secretary of the admission committee Yaroslava Yurkiv addressed the students with wishes.
