LNU Professor has been Assigned Honorary Title

Inna Stashevska, Professor of LNU, has been assigned an honorary title “Honored Artist of Ukraine”.
Inna Olehivna Stashevska has graduated from Donetsk Serhii Prokofiev State Conservatory and Petr Chaikovkyi National Music Academy. Today she is Professor and Director of the Institute of Culture and Arts of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. The scientist represents wide creative activity: she is a violinist, creative director of on-stage performance group, pedagogue, scientist, musical and public figure.
Professor is an author of more than 80 scientific publications including 2 fundamental monographs: “Music Education of Preschool Children in Germany” and “Music Pedagogy of Germany: Theory, History, Practice” and a learning guidance. In her works Inna Olehivna develops theoretical and methodological foundations of forming professional competency of future violinists, foundations of methodology of scientific research in new field for domestic science – musical and pedagogical comparativistics.
Regular participation as a member of jury in the international and All-Ukrainian music competitions, reports at the scientific and research conferences of different level, invitation to oppose thesis, holding master-classes and lections at the educational institutions of Ukraine and abroad (Russia, Poland, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegowina) prove the recognition of creative and scientific authority of LNU Professor Inna Stashevska not only in Ukraine but abroad.
Her high performance skills as a musician are proved by the title of the international competition laureate (III premium in the nomination “Small Chamber Ensembles”, 2002, New-York, USA), long concert experience as a member of duet (with Andrii Stashevskyi, accordion) and then director and soloist of chamber ensemble “Renaissance” (she created it in 2000), laureate of I premium of the international competition “Crimea Spring” (Yalta, 2008).
During her work at Luhansk National University Inna Olehivna educated many qualified violinists including 12 laureates of the All-Ukrainian and international competitions. And one of her pupils – Roberto Rats won grand prize of the International Competition “Fortissimo” in 2014.
