Traditionally, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University hosted Online Open Day.

Today, July 16, 2020, our higher educational institution traditionally hosted Online Open Day using the Zoom platform. During the meeting, the Rector, the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, the Executive Secretary of the Admission Committee, as well as deans and teachers of structural subdivisions were waiting for future applicants.

At the beginning, the Rector of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University Serhii Savchenko addressed the audience with a welcoming speech: “Dear applicants! Now you need to take an important step in your life – to get a quality education. We meet to help you make the right choice. Today you can ask any questions as well as you can meet virtually with representatives of colleges, institutes, faculties. Therefore, find out all the necessary information and enter our university!”

During the online meeting, the Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Dmytro Uzhchenko and the Executive Secretary of the Admission Committee Yaroslava Yurkiv acquainted applicants with the specifics of the 2020 admission campaign. “Dear applicants, for admission to our higher educational institution, certificates of completion of the 9th or 11th grades, issued on the territory not controlled by the government of Ukraine, are not needed,” Dmytro Viktorovych said. 

Among the main features, it can be noted that registration for creative contests will begin on July 20. In connection with the complex conditions, applicants can send documents for admission by the service “Nova Poshta”, indicating the address of the university with a note “Admission Committee”. It is no longer possible to enter colleges on the basis of 9th grade, because the admission of documents has been completed. “Applicants, you can see all the necessary information on the website of our university at the link https://luguniv.edu.ua/?page_id=4271&lang=ru”.

Future students and their parents, in turn, actively asked questions about the deadlines for accepting documents, the schedule of entrance exams, the cost of the contract form of study. The applicants were also interested in the peculiarities of filing documents and passing exams for the magistracy.
