The Faculty of Natural Sciences completed the implementation of training and production practices.

Every year, on the basis of the university branch of scientific and technical training of the agronomic direction of the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University”, students-agronomists have practice.

This year, due to quarantine restrictions, the practice format has been changed, and students were offered new options for performing practical experiments.

Throughout the practice, employees of the university department and teachers of the Department of Biology and Agronomy conducted field measurements of plants in the experimental plots and provided factual material about the characteristics of plant development to students on the educational portal. Students processed the provided material and performed practical tasks. At the end of the practice, all students successfully defended the results of their work at the final Zoom conference and successfully passed the test. But in the experimental sections of the department of scientific and technical training of the agronomic direction, work will continue until the end of the growing season – harvesting. Employees of the department and teachers will continue to implement scientific topics in accordance with work plans.

We wish our agricultural students, teachers and university staff to practice fruitful cooperation and good health. We hope that next year we will expect the usual format of work without quarantine.
