Participation in the short-time development program

Lecturers of the Department of Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Business took part in a short-term development program.

From June 16 to 23, 2020 lecturers of the Department of Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Business took part in the short-term development program in Theory and Practice of Continuing Education Organization (30 hours), which took place in the form of video conferencing using the GoogleMeet tool. The program was implemented on the basis of the Human Resources Development Center of Sumy State University. The program’s speaker was Vadym Aleksandrov, Ph.D.

The program provided for familiarization with the following topics:

Topic 1. Theory and practice of ensuring the quality of continuing education.

Topic 2. The role of effective technologies for organizing the work of the brain and human memory in improving the quality of lifelong education.

Topic 3. Development of integrated training and certification complexes of continuing education, taking into account the laws of the brain and human memory.

Theme 4. Digital competencies, skills, models and approaches to digitalization of education.

According to the results of participation in the program, participants received certificates of professional development.

Skills development by teachers of the Department of Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Business is carried out in accordance with the Regulation on Skills Development of Scientific and Pedagogical Employees of the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University”.
