Final certification for music students

Students majoring in Musical Art and Secondary Education (Musical Art) completed the cycle of final certifications at the Institute of Culture and Arts. 

Traditionally, the final certification of music graduates takes place in the form of open concerts on the basis of the Poltava Platon Maiboroda Children’s Music School and in the assembly hall of the Poltava University of Economics and Trade, but this year our bachelors mastered new technologies to pass the exam remotely.

The final certification for students majoring in Musical art and Secondary Education (Musical Art) is compiled in the form of a comprehensive exam in special disciplines, which includes such components as the methodology of teaching professional disciplines, solo performance, ensemble performance in different compositions (duet, trio, quartet ), conducting.

This year the chairman of the examination committee was a Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor, Dean of the Faculty of Performing arts and Musicology of the R.Glier Kyiv Municipal Academy of Music Svitlana Borisova. 

All students successfully passed the final certification. The examination committee noted a fairly high level of knowledge and performing skills of Serhii Spisyuk, Iryna Smeshkova (academic singing), Valentyna Kolesnik, Oleksandr Mykhailov, Olena Kashcheeva (pop singing), Oksana Kyrylova (piano), Olena Steblii (orchestral string instruments (violin) , Volodymyr Smirnitsky (musical art of pop and jazz (saxophone), Hanna Beseda, Bohdan Bilichenko and Oleksii Makovenko (Secondary education (musical art). Their answers were informative, theoretically substantiated and concise, and the performance of the concert program was emotional, sensual, technical and professional. 

The commission especially noted the high professional level of performing skills of violinist Dmytro Holoborodov (the teacher – People’s Artist of Ukraine, Associate Professor of the Department of Musical Art and Choreography Yurii Kyrychenko). Dmytro repeatedly confirmed his skills with victories at the All-Ukrainian and International creative competitions during his studies at our university. According to the chairman of the examination committee Svitlana Borisova, such a student as Dmytro Holoborodov is the pride of any higher educational institution.

Based on the results of academic performance and compilation of final certification by the examination committee, it was decided to issue diplomas with honors to students Dmytro Holoborodov, Iryna Smeshkova, Serhii Spysiuk, Oksana Kyrylova and Olena Steblii.
