Online Open Day

For the second time, the Online Open Day was held at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

Today, June 24, 2020, the Online Open Day was held at our university. The Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, directors of institutes and representatives of the Admission Committee communicate with future applicants online for the second time. 

Traditionally, at the beginning of the conference, the Rector Serhii Savchenko addressed everyone, “Dear applicants, colleagues! We hold such a meeting online, because the situation that now exists in the country does not allow us to meet with our future students at our higher education institution. Congratulations to everyone who joined the conversation with us, ask your questions, and we will gladly provide answers to them! And remember – we are waiting for you at our university.”

During the online meeting, future students actively asked questions regarding the timing of entrance exams and admission of documents, submitting documents on the basis of 9 classes for admission to colleges, the number of budget places, accommodation in hostels and others.

The Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Dmytro Uzhchenko and the executive secretary of the Admission Committee Yaroslava Yurkiv acquainted the applicants with the features of the 2020 admission campaign and the procedure for entering the university. “In order to enter the university, applicants have the right to use the External evaluation testing certificates from 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020, in foreign languages ​​- from 2018, 2019 and 2020. You can use them in any combination,” Yaroslava Yurkiv said.

The Director of the Educational and Research Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology Olena Karaman and the executive secretary of the Admission Committee of the College of LTSNU Yulia Ivanova joined the conversation answering questions from applicants.
