Meeting of the Scientific Council of the ER ICSTT

On June 18, 2020, a regular meeting of the Scientific Council of the Educational and Research Institute of Commerce, Serving Technologies and Tourism was held. The Director of the Institute Viktor Drel began the meeting. 

At the meeting, the participants listened to the issue of recommending the approval of updated curricula, educational and educational-professional programs for the teaching of full-time and part-time bachelors, masters for the 2020-2021 academic year.

Natalia Bykadorova, Deputy Director of the ER ICSTT for Academic Affairs, spoke on this issue, and said that the directorate received excerpts from meetings of the institute’s departments at which guarantors of educational and educational-professional programs spoke. They reported that, based on the results of ongoing monitoring of these programs, it was concluded that they needed to be updated. The guarantors proposed to make changes to improve the educational program, the academic program and the curriculum, taking into account the needs and proposals of students studying for these academic programs, the feedback of stakeholders and graduates of the academic program.

Natalia Bykadorova also submitted directly for consideration the updated educational, educational-professional programs and curricula of all departments of the institute.

It was proposed to recommend the approval of updated educational programs, educational-professional programs and curricula for the training of applicants for higher education. 

After discussion, the members of the Council decided to recommend the approval of updated educational programs, educational-professional programs and curricula for the training of applicants for higher education.
