Final certification of students studying geography

On June 12, the final certification of bachelor students majoring in “Secondary Education. Geography” took place. 

The chairman of the examination committee was Pavlo Virchenko, Candidate of Geographical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Socio-Economic Geography and Regional Studies of V.N. Karazin Kharkiv National University. The examination committee included: Dmytro Uzhchenko, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor; Olha Hubska, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs, Faculty of Natural Sciences; Iryna Melnik, Head of the Department of Geography, Candidate of Geographical Sciences, Associate Professor; Hanna Havriushenko, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor of the Department of Geography; Mykola Udovychenko, Candidate of Geological and Mineralogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the geography Department; Olena Sevastianova, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Pedagogy Department.

The exam was held in the form of an oral comprehensive exam in specialized disciplines online on the Zoom platform. The chairman of the examination committee and examiners were pleased with the high level of professional training of students. All questions caused a lively discussion.
