The Department of Production Technologies and Professional Education conducted a remote comprehensive qualification exam.
On June 3-4, 2020, at the Department of Production and Professional Education Technologies, a remote qualification exam was conducted for the specialty and defense of diploma projects for the fourth-year full-time and part-time bachelor students and the second-year applicants for shortened education majoring in 015 “Professional Education. Food Technologiesˮ.
The exam began via video conference organized by the examination committee based on the Skype platform. Welcoming speeches were made by the Director of the Institute of Commerce, Serving Technologies and Tourism, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor Viktor Drel; Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Oleksandr Meniailenko and Chairman of the State Examination Commission, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor Ihor Lebedinets.
After the video identification of the applicants for education, Viktor Burdun, member of the examination committee and the head of the Department, announced the format of the exam and the time limit. Education applicants have moved on to completing the tasks contained in the exam tickets.
After passing the comprehensive qualification exam in writing, began to defend their graduation projects. Thanks to the function Screen Demonstration of the Skype platform all participants had the opportunity to see the graphic part of the development of students.
The projects and works found a wide response among those present and were actively discussed during the defense. Members of the commission particularly noted the work of Evgen Vostrikov and Svitlana Hrebeniuk. At the end of the report, students substantively answered questions from members of the commission and those present.
Graduates demonstrated a high level of theoretical knowledge and practical training. The subject of work covers a wide range of production issues of modern food industry and restaurant enterprises.
