Webinars using the Web of Science database

Teachers of the Department of Pedagogy took part in a series of webinars for Ukrainian scientists.
From June 2 to 5, the scientific and pedagogical staff of the Pedagogy Department together with colleagues from other scientific institutions and higher educational institutions of Ukraine underwent training on the program of using the Web of Science Core Collection database. The classes were organized by Clarivate Analytics and were conducted in video lecture format. The lecturer was an expert in information and analytical resources and company training, Candidate of Biological Sciences Iryna Tykhonkova.

- Institutional profile in Web of Science: creation, adjustment, use
- InCites analytic capabilities
During the event, the participants examined the features of the new interface of the Web of Science platform, the available functions, the algorithm for searching data and storing information, the procedure for counting the number of citations, analyzed the indicators that can be calculated in the Web of Science Core Collection and InCites, the calculation method of CNCI, studied the creation the institution’s profile in the Web of Science, its function and capabilities, the nature of the difficulties with identification and the correct assessment of the institution’s publishing activities has been investigated, and attention has been paid to questions of the rights and obligations of authors, reviewers, members of editorial boards and more.
Upon completion of the program, all participants received certificates.
