Meeting of the Department

The Department of Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Busines held a scheduled meeting.

Given the quarantine conditions, the Department of Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Business of the Educational and Research Institute of Commerce, Serving Technologies and Tourism organized a scheduled meeting online using the Skype platform. The meeting was held on June 2, 2020. 

The following issues were put on the agenda:

• The results of state certification of applicants for education.
• Continuation of the educational process using distance technologies.
• Preparation of educational programs, curriculum development.
• Educational work of curators with job seekers.
• Implementation of the individual plan of the postgraduate student. Certification of the first-year postgraduate students. 

Teachers paid special attention to career guidance in quarantine. Despite a number of restrictions imposed by the all-Ukrainian quarantine, the Department of Tourism, Hotel and Restaurant Business duly established communication between teachers and applicants for education, and the educational, upbringing and research processes continue according to plans; there is the provision of education applicants with educational materials in their disciplines, the provision of group and individual consultations, methodological recommendations for completing assignments, verification and evaluation are carried out.

There was also a report on the implementation of the individual curriculum and the individual plan of scientific work of the postgraduate student of the Department Yana Moroz.

The meeting of the department was very active. As a result, the ways of successfully resolving the issues were noted, new tasks for the teachers and applicants of higher education of the department were identified.
