Prizes at the All-Ukrainian Competition of Student Research Papers

Students majoring in  Secondary Education. Physical Culture won prizes in the All-Ukrainian Competition of Student Research Papers.

Annually students of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports take an active part in the All-Ukrainian Competition of Student Research Papers. This year, students of the Department of Theory and Methods of Physical Education became winners of the second round of the Competition, which took place at the Dnipro State Academy of Physical Culture and Sports.

Based on the reviews and evaluation of scientific reports of the participants of the scientific-practical conference, the fourth-year student majoring in “Secondary Education. Physical Culture” Lina Buhayova received a first-degree diploma, and the first-year master’s student Liubov Novikova – a third-degree diploma.

The research of Lina Buhayova was devoted to the problem of formation of aesthetic tastes and leadership qualities of applicants for basic secondary education in the process of physical education. Two articles were published on the topic of the scientific work (collection of scientific articles “Probleme actuale ale teoriei şi practicii culturii fizice”, collection of scientific works of students “Scientific search of young researchers”). Approbation of the research results was carried out during the author’s speeches at the Student Science Days.

The scientific work of Liubov Novikova concerned modern methods of teaching athletics exercises using case technologies in physical education lessons. The value of the research lies in the practical recommendations developed by Lyuba for improving athletics classes and the introduction of case technologies in a physical education lesson. An article on the topic of the research was published in the collection of students’ research papers “Scientific Search of Young Researchers”, and its results were tested at the Student Days of Science.

The scientific adviser of young researchers is Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor O.V. Otravenko. 

The competition was held in order to support talented student youth, create conditions for their creative growth, intensify research work of students.
