A comprehensive exam was conducted at the Design Department.
On May 27, a comprehensive exam for full-time and part-time bachelor students majoring in Design was conducted at the Design Department. For the first time in the history of the department, the certification of graduates took place online using the Zoom communication platform.
The exam consisted of two parts – theoretical and practical, of which the most interesting is the practical part, where applicants for education reflect professional skills by performing creative work in such disciplines as: “Photo art”, “Drawing”, “Work in material”, “Posters”. The State Commission, headed by the chairwoman Lilia Saprykina, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, senior lecturer of the Department of Decorative and Applied Arts and Design of Kryvyi Rih Pedagogical University, was able to assess the high level of completion of tasks assigned to graduates.
In the online mode, in the presence of Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Oleksandr Meniailenko, director of the ER ICSTT Viktor Drel, Deputy Director of the ER ICSTT Natalia Bykadorova, leading specialist Nadiia Streltsova, envelopes were opened and examination tickets were distributed among applicants for education.
Graduates in writing had to answer theoretical questions and complete a practical task. For students majoring in Graphic Design, the task was to make a sketch of the constants of the graphic complex or corporate identity of the enterprise or organization; and graduates majoring in Interior Design had to arrange the furniture in the perspective image. Each work was evaluated at 50 points and in total had a maximum overall rating of 100 points.
The commission highlighted the best works of graduates, including Anna Oliinyk, Inna Pleshakova and Darina Ushatova, who will receive diplomas with honors.
Congratulations to our graduates and wish them creative inspiration, further self-realization. We are waiting for you in the magistracy!
