Masters of the Institute of Commerce, Serving Technologies and Tourism undergo metrological and industrial practice.

Masters majoring in Entrepreneurship, Trade and Exchange Activitie of the Educational and Research Institute of Commerce, Serving Technologies and Tourism, under the guidance of teachers of the Department of Commodity Research, Commercial Business and Goods Expertise, undergo metrological and industrial practice. The main goal of the practice is to improve the professional and practical training of future specialists.

In particular, students had practice at Svatovske Maslo LLC, an enterprise in eastern Ukraine. Since 1903 and today it is one of the leading enterprises in the oil and fat industry in the region. Quality control at all stages of production from the reception of raw materials to the shipment of finished products to consumers is carried out in strict accordance with international systems ISO 9001 and ISO 22000, which allows us to guarantee quality for consumers in different countries of the world. The company has certificates of conformity for unrefined sunflower oil, not frozen and sunflower meal, high protein granular and ordinary granulated.

Most of the products are delivered to EU countries, China, India, Belarus, Kazakhstan. There is also an operational permit for the sale of finished products to the countries: Iran, Iraq, Egypt, Syria, Turkey, Sudan, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.

Applicants also undergo practical training at trade enterprises.

Metrological practice enables applicants to increase the level of theoretical knowledge of legislative, regulatory, material and technical support for the activities of measuring laboratories.

The students learned about the accreditation rules of laboratories, the presence of organizational, regulatory and methodological documents for the necessary measurements. The skills and abilities to fulfill the functional duties of the workers of the measuring laboratory were mastered, the organizational structure, the principles of its creation, the main functions, tasks and activities of measuring laboratories were clarified.
