Refresher courses for teachers

Associate professors of the Department of Pedagogy have developed refresher courses for teachers.
Associate professors of the Department of Pedagogy Viktoria Shvyrka and Oksana Alekseeva developed refresher courses for teachers of higher educational institutions “Modern Interactive Teaching Technologies” and for teachers-organizers “Actual Issues of the Work of Organizing Teachers in the Paradigm of Modern Educationˮ, which are held at our university on the basis of the Educational and Research Institute of Public Management, Administration and Postgraduate Education. The program of courses, which are now taking place in a remote format, is designed for 1 credit (30 hours) and provides for the mandatory implementation of qualification work. The duration of each course is 4 weeks. At the end of the course a certificate is issued.
The course for teachers of higher education institutions “Modern Interactive Teaching Technologies” focuses on the features of the introduction of interactive technologies in the educational process of higher education institutions, which are caused by modern transformations of the educational process into co-education, mutual learning, in which the student and teacher become equal and equivalent subjects of training.
The course is devoted to the formation of knowledge about the latest approaches to the organization of training, interactive learning technologies, their content, features, specifics, forms and methods, organization techniques and the ability to structurally analyze the educational process from the perspective of its modern technologization.
The aim of the course for teachers-organizers “Topical Issues of the Work of Organizing Teachers in the Paradigm of Modern Education” is to improve and deepen the professional knowledge and skills of the teachers-organizers as a carrier of reflective culture and a motivated, professional specialist on the structure and content of professional and pedagogical activity, in theory and methods of educational work, festive and gaming activities, new technologies, methods and techniques of organizing the educational process in compliance with the requirements of the New Ukrainian School; bringing the professional competence of the teacher-organizer in accordance with the specific tasks of education and upbringing at the present stage of development of pedagogical theory and practice, the formation of a conscious willingness to introduce innovative conceptual approaches and technologies into the updated educational process; the development of creative thinking, the ability to rationally organize their own pedagogical activities and provide high results for students.
As part of the course, a platform has been created for the exchange of experience in the practical implementation of the ideas of the New Ukraninian School, where the teachers-organizers have the opportunity to present their own developments in the form of projects.
Teachers of the department are fruitfully working on improving the qualifications and professionalism of their own teaching staff, taking internships and refresher courses for teachers in leading higher education institutions in Ukraine and abroad. In particular, during quarantine, there was the online course “Academic Virtue”, in a series of webinars with scientometrics “The Main Metrics of Modern Science. Scopus and Web of Science”, webinars “Personal Professional Teacher’s Blog: Design, Content, Promotion”, “Online Tests: Job Options for Effective Interactionˮ and a series of continuing education programs for teachers and research workers “Effective Interaction in Education: Tools and Techniquesˮ, “Online Tests “At the Lesson” for distance learningˮ, “Logical, Creative, Critical Thinking”.
