Results of the Science Days

The Department of Production Technologies and Professional Education summed up the Days of Science.

On May 14, 2020, the Department of Production Technologies and Professional Education held the discussion of the results of the Days of Science and collections of materials of two conferences took place: the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference “Modern Science and Education: State, Problems, Prospects” and the First All-Ukrainian Scientific Internet Conference of Students and Young Scientists “Modern Production Technologies and Professional Education: Trends and Innovationsˮ.

This year, traditional Science Days have been combined with these two conferences.

The All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Conference “Modern Science and Education: State, Problems, Prospects” was held on April 14-15, 2020. The conference proceedings included 50 abstracts. Of these, 33 theses were prepared by teachers and students of the department.

Based on the materials of the conference, 12 scientific articles were prepared (4 articles were prepared by teachers of the Department), which will be published in professional university editions “Education and Pedagogical Sciences” and “Bulletin of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National Universityˮ.

On April 16, 2020, the All-Ukrainian Scientific Internet Conference of Students and Young Scientists “Modern Production Technologies and Professional Education: Trends and Innovations”. The conference proceedings included 38 theses. Of these, students of the department wrote 23 theses.

In the framework of the 1st All-Ukrainian Scientific Internet Conference of Students and Young Scientists “Modern Production Technologies and Professional Education: Trends and Innovations”, 20 scientific articles were prepared for publication in the edition “Scientific Search for Young Researchers”.

So, the scientific and pedagogical staff of the department actively combines teaching with scientific activity, helps to increase the level of effectiveness of the educational process, to improve the content of training, taking into account the current state and development trends of production technologies and professional education in Ukraine. The scientific activity of the department allows introducing the advanced techniques in the training of highly qualified specialists.
