Scholarship holder of the President of Ukraine!

Yelyzaveta Motuz, master’s student of the Educational and Research Institute of Commerce, Serving Technologies and Tourism, became a scholarship holder of the President of Ukraine.

Since September 2019, Yelyzaveta Motuz has been studying in the specialty 076 “Entrepreneurship, Commerce and Exchange Activities” of the educational program “Commodity Research and Customs Expertise”, Master’s study.

During the period of study, Yelyzaveta established herself as an active, conscientious, responsible, executive and sociable student, demonstrated organizational and leadership qualities, a responsible attitude to study, perseverance and discipline. Throughout the whole time she studies perfectly, is keen on studying a foreign (English) language.

Yelyzaveta Motuz is a leader in the research work of students. Based on the results of the research, she publishes scientific theses and articles. She constantly participates in professional international scientific and practical conferences, trainings, seminars, competitions, etc.

The master’s student took an active part in the events on the occasion of the I International Scientific and Practical Conference “Topical Issues of Expert and Evaluation Activitiesˮ and Science Days of the Educational and Research Institute of Commerce, Serving Technologies and Tourism of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University. She joined organization and conduct of competitions (October 14 – November 28, 2019).

To improve professional competencies, Yelyzaveta, through blended learning, runs online courses:

  • December 17, 2019, she received a certificate after the successful completion of an online educational special project: ,, Ukraine-EU Association Agreement. Special project of EDERA and the International Renaissance Foundation with the support of the European Union as part of the project, Public Synergyˮ;
  • On December 28, 2019, she received a certificate after successful completion of the Queensland University’s online critical thinking course “Science of Everyday Thinkingˮ through the platform of mass open online courses “Prometheusˮ;
  • January 5, 2020 at the online education studio “EdEraˮ received a certificate at the rate “Smart exporter: electronic resources, regulation and requirements for export to the EUˮ;
  • January 13, 2020 received a certificate after the successful completion of the online course “Food safety: modern legislation, a conscientious producer, responsible consumer”, provided with the support of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine through the platform of mass open online courses “Prometheus”.

Since 2019, Yelyzaveta Motuz has been a member of the public organization “Research Center ‘Independent Expertise’ (hereinafter referred to as the Public Organization “Research Center ‘Independent Expertise’).

Yelyzaveta (as a member of the Public Association “Research Center “Independent Expertise”) is an executor of self-supporting research topics commissioned by trade organizations, manufacturing enterprises, individual businessmen and citizens, namely:

  • No. 01-09-19 “Development of merchandising classifications (by groups of non-food products) for identification, merchandising expertise and evaluation”, dated September 17, 2019;
  • No. 01-10-19 “Improving the information support for consumers of outerwear (leather, fur, with filling from feather-downy semi-finished product)”, October 23, 2019.

Yelyzaveta (as a member of the NGO, Research Center “Independent Expertise”) joined the work of the media advisory department (from September 2019 to January 2020), namely, the processing of consumer applications for the following goods that were in operation:

  • women’s winter shoes – uggs;
  • crock-pot model PHILIPS HD4731 / 03;
  • brand shoes “BOKMAKS”;\
  • low shoes for women 44050-00 “Rieker”;
  • Smartphone “Hyavey P30 Pro”.

Since October 2019, Yelyzaveta has been developing her own startup project: “The key to health in intimate products” under the auspices of product safety – intimate hygiene products. The aim of the project is to increase the implementation of safe and quality intimate goods. The project aims to protect consumers from dangerous goods and / or inadequate quality, which may have a negative impact on the human body.

During the training period, she established herself as an active and diligent student, intends to realize herself in the field of merchandising and examination, demonstrated organizational and leadership qualities, responsible attitude to study, perseverance and discipline.

She is purposeful, hardworking, persistent, self-confident person. She respects teachers and peers. She is critical of her own actions, the behavior of her comrades and speaks frankly about this. Her classmates appreciate her for her organizational abilities, diplomacy, correctness, and willingness to help. She is open for communication and dialogue. She is self-critical, able to adequately assess her capabilities and abilities, shows organization and integrity in decision making. She has significant scientific and cognitive interests, demonstrates a high level of theoretical and practical professional training, is erudite, and has a broad outlook.
