Honoring Veterans

Teachers and students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University congratulated war veterans.

On May holidays, meetings with veterans are important for young people. Indeed, thanks to their feat, we live under free sky, on our Ukrainian land.

On the Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation and on the eve of the Victory Day over Nazism, teachers and students of our university, with the support of the Primary Trade Union Organization of LTSNU, visited war veterans and presented them with grocery sets. Volunteers also handed greeting cards from Rector Serhii Savchenko.

Veterans expressed gratitude for the help and support, wished peace, harmony and prosperity to the university. In general, LTSNU congratulated six veterans in the Starobilsk district.

Thank you, dear Heroes, for your dedication, courage, patriotism, thanks to which you stopped the enemy in a fierce war. Thanks to you, we, contemporaries, can live peacefully in our native land and enjoy life.

Precious veterans, we bow our heads to your wisdom and heroism. We sincerely wish you good health, family well-being and long life!
