In the framework of the discipline “Production Training”, students master cooking the dishes of different peoples of the world. In quarantine, students majoring in “Vocational Education. Food Technology” carry out laboratory work and practical tasks that must be passed at home. Food workers showcase their own tasty and healthy dishes and products. The photo shows the daily and favorite Mexican dish “Pita”. This fresh round tortilla, hollow inside, is great for filling with various snacks or vegetable salads. Students also prepared a national German dessert “Apples in batter”.
According to the Assistant Professor Dmytro Kramarenko, every year, students are becoming more prepared, introduce more and more innovations in traditional dishes or come up with new products. Another condition for practical work is the functionality of the presented product, a useful property for health or for a certain category of consumers.
