The Department of Design of the Institute of Commerce, Serving Technologies and Tourism held a Week of Science.

During quarantine, the Design Department is actively working, learning new online platforms and does not abandon its traditions. As part of the annual events for the Days of Science, from April 21 to April 25, 2020, the Week of Science was held at the Design Department, teachers prepared online lectures and disputes:

April 22, 2020 – Oksana Hetman held an online lecture “Competitions of professional excellence as a component of the formation and development of professional competence of future stylists”;

April 23, 2020 – Iryna Koval held an online discussion on the topic “Introduction of innovative technologies in the beauty industry”;

April 24, 2020 – Olha Kostiuk held an online discussion “Contemporary Art and Ideas: Discussing an Online Course”.

April 25, 2020 – Irina Prodan held a video conference with graduates of the educational degree “Bachelor,” where they discussed the possibility of passing state exams remotely.

Also, on April 24-25, 2020, teachers and master’s students of the Department of Design majoring in Hair Design and Makeup Art took part online in the III International Scientific and Practical Conference “Modernization and Scientific Research: the Paradigm of Innovative Development of Society and Technology” (Kyiv).
Guarantors of educational programs took part in the online conference, which was held on April 28, on the conclusion of programs and curricula.
At the same time, teachers of the Department take an active part in international conferences and publish professional articles and abstracts.
