Exhibition of creative works

An online exhibition of creative works was held at the Department of Production Technologies and Professional Education.

From April 21 to April 28, 2020, the Department of Production Technologies and Professional Education held an online exhibition of creative works made by students majoring in “Secondary Education. Labor Training and Technology” and “Vocational Education. Technology of Light Industry Products”. Due to quarantine measures, students were unable to visualize their products. For the exhibition, a group was created “Exhibition of the DPTPE” on Facebook, where photographs of student products were posted. Graduates of the department who have already completed their studies at our university and students who work as teachers of labor training also joined the exhibition.

Within a week, everyone could see the exhibits and vote on the product they liked. About 100 people took part in the voting.

In total, 27 exhibitors took part in the exhibition, presenting 75 products made using the felting technique, kanzashi, ganutel technique, scrapbooking technique, etc. The exhibits were made of foamiran, wood, plywood, corrugated paper, and beads. Original products made from materials such as spoons and forks, stockings, tubes of adhesive tape were presented. A 3D printed product was also introduced. However, the culinary masterpiece made by master’s student Elona Popova won the most votes. And although we were not destined to taste the cake, its beauty fascinated most visitors to the online exhibition. It should be noted that her dolls from stockings, which we remember from last year’s exhibition, won second place in the voting.

The department is grateful to all students, graduates and pupils who took part in the exhibition, to all who joined the viewing and voting.

Participants who won the most votes and took an active part in the exhibition will be awarded with diplomas and special prizes.
