Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University received personal protective equipment for employees.

Personal protective equipment for university employees came from members of the Supervisory Council of our university. The equipment includes protective masks, medical gloves and immunochromatographic test kits for detecting antibodies to the coronavirus COVID-19.

In this difficult time for all people, such assistance is extremely important, because our higher educational institution, even under quarantine conditions, continues the educational process in online and telephone modes: conduct online classes, host Science Days, International and All-Ukrainian scientific and practical conferences, structural units that ensure the functioning of the university work.

At the beginning of quarantine, the Primary Trade Union Organization of the university provided employees with personal protective equipment and took care of the disinfection of the premises.

“For us, the protection of our employees was and is a priority. The other day, we received help from members of the Supervisory Council which sent us personal protective equipment. And we, for our part, are doing everything possible to prevent the spread of the disease and protect our employees,” the Rector Serhii Savchenko said.

The staff of our university is sincerely grateful to the members of the Supervisory Council for the care and assistance provided. Together we will overcome the pandemic! Do not ignore preventive means and take care of your health!
