Learning in new conditions

The educational process continues at the Educational and Research Institute of Economy and Business.

Teachers and students of the Educational and Research Institute of Economy and Business, despite quarantine, continue to work actively. In addition to traditional classes in the educational portal of the university, a number of scientific events took place at the Institute.

At the beginning of the week, a meeting of the directorate took place, during which the teachers discussed current issues and planned further work online.

So, on April 21, the Science Days on the topic “Modern Prospects for the Development of Economy and Management in the Context of the Global Pandemic” were held at the Department of Management of the ER IEB. Given the current conditions, the event was organized online using the Zoom platform. Students, under the guidance of teachers, prepared reports on relevant topics and presented the results of their research. Teachers of the Department note that the presented reports demonstrate the depth, comprehensiveness and relevance of research.

In the new conditions, a meeting of the Youth Business Club took place. Using the Zoom platform on April 22, students not only became listeners, but also active participants in the event. Vira Shevchenko, regional director of Oriflame, joined the meeting. She spoke about the features of the work of entrepreneurs online and activities in social networks. On her own example, she talked about current methods of communicating with customers and how to increase the number of sales in the new conditions.
