School Online: Ukrainian format
23.4.2020
On April 23, an online reporting conference was held on the topic “School Online: Ukrainian format”.
The conference was held based on the results of the pedagogical (educational) practice of second-year students of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports, specialty “Secondary Education. Physical Culture” (the head of the practice is Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Pedagogy Inna Kurlishchuk).
This year, the practice was organized remotely to prevent the spread of the coronavirus COVID-19.
Given the temporary transition of the Ukrainian high school to the online mode, the Department of Pedagogy developed tasks for students to study the characteristics of the organization of the educational process of educational institutions, in particular in the online environment, planning and conducting physical education lessons and extracurricular educational activities; including, students were asked to monitor the sites of educational institutions in their region.
Future physical education teachers shared their impressions and results of the work while protecting creative reports on practice. So, the monitoring conducted by students showed a high level of attention of school management to filling the content of the sites of educational institutions. At the same time, students highlighted both “victory” and “defeat” in the organization of online learning. Emphasizing that for them personally, such a challenge was undoubtedly useful and helped to gain experience not only in the usual offline teaching activities, but also online, the role of which will undoubtedly only increase in the future.
The head of practice analyzed the work of student interns, highlighting the content of the prepared presentation reports of Mykyta Antonenkov, Lilia Bilchenko, Ivan Boiarchuk and Ihor Khmelik.
At the end of the conference, grades were announced to all students.
