Victory in the second round of the students’ research papers competition

Every year, students of the faculty of foreign languages take part in the All-Ukrainian competition of students’ research papers.
Students of Romance and Germanic Philology Department Maiorenko Vira, 3rd year student of specialty 014 Secondary education ,,Language and Literature (French, English)” with the scientific work ,,Verbalization of the concept “LA RUSE” (Cunning) in the French phraseological picture of the world” (supervisor – Shapovalova L.V.) and Shekhavtsova Polina, 1st year student of specialty 014 Secondary education ,,Language and Literature (Spanish, English)” with the scientific work “Representation of euphemisms in the Spanish-language media in the context of hybrid information war in Ukraine” (supervisor – Byndas O.M.) II reached the final round of competition of students’ research papers, which took place in Kyiv National Linguistic University in April 2020. The second stage of the second round of All-Ukrainian competition – defense of scientific works – in this year did not take place. Winners were determined by the results of the first stage.
The winner of the second stage of the II round was Vira Maiorenko, a 3rd year student of the specialty Secondary Education ,,Language and Literature (French, English)ˮ, and received a diploma of the II degree. Supervisor – Shapovalova L. V., PhD, associate professor of Romance and Germanic Philology Department.
