Faculty of Foreign Languages during quarantine

The Faculty of Foreign Languages is actively working in quarantine.

The students of the Faculty of Foreign Languages continue to bite on the granite of science and fruitfully work online at the educational portal of the Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University on the platform Moodle. The teachers of the Faculty of Foreign Languages use the Zoom web platform for visual communication.

During the quarantine period two meetings of the Departments of the Faculty of Foreign Languages have already been held. On April 09, 2020, Head of the Department Victoria Dmitrenko initiated a meeting of the Department of World Literature and Russian Linguistics, and Head of the Department Olena Bindas held a meeting of the Department of Romance-German Philology on April 14, 2020, where all pressing issues on the agenda were resolved.

Teachers and faculty working 24/7 every day, actively interact with students and help them to gain new knowledge through different web platforms. Teams have been created in Viber to organize the preparation of course and research writing. 

Appropriate attention is given to international students who are in the hostel during the quarantine period. They fulfill all requirements to prevent the occurrence and spread of coronavirus, i.e. they have bandages and disposable gloves. They measure the temperature three times a day and at the end of each day they report to the management of the faculty and the commandant of the hostel.

We hope for the best! We wish everyone health! We will overcome everything, even COVID-19, because we are a strong nation!
