Online Student Research Competition

On April 3, the second round of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers in specialty “Information and Communication Technologies in Education” was held.
The event was held at the base of the Department of Informatics and Cybernetics of the Bohdan Khmelnytskyi Melitopol State Pedagogical University.
Student scientific work was carried out in the following main areas:
- Information and communication technologies in general secondary and vocational education;
- Information and communication technologies in higher education institutions and in scientific research.
The jury consisted of leading scientists and teachers from different Ukrainian universities, among whom was Oleksandr Meniailenko, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work of our University.
The jury selected student papers from 25 higher educational institutions that presented scientific papers on topical issues in the development and use of information and communication technologies in education.
The final round of the competition was carried out online using the Zoom web platform and several other auxiliary online services, which made it possible for students to provide full-fledged reports in defense of their work and their interaction with jury members.
Today, information technologies in education demonstrate their effectiveness and the possibilities of distance learning, which is especially important and appropriate in quarantine.
