Learning Opportunities under Quarantine

Students of the ER IPMIT received the access to free elective training on the Coursera platform as part of the Coursera Coronavirus Response. 

Community Coursera is leveraging a global effort to help universities and colleges to minimize the impact of coronavirus outbreaks (COVID-19) on students. To deliver training programs on the Internet, the community initiated the creation of Coursera Coronavirus Response (https://www.coursera.org/coronavirus).

This initiative provides for:

• Access to 3800 courses and 400 specialties;
• Admission to courses until July 31, 2020;
• End of courses until September 30, 2020.

The Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technologies has joined this initiative as a participant.

Students of the Institute and other structural subdivisions of the university can choose additional optional courses and receive knowledge from the best universities in the world or international corporations: Google, IBM, Intel, Stanford, University of Zurich (https://www.coursera.org/about/partners) for the period of self-isolation.

Most courses require knowledge of the English language.
