First round of the All-Ukrainian Mathematics Olympiad

The I round of the IPMIT hosted the 1st round of the All-Ukrainian Mathematics Olympiad among students of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.

The Olympiad was held in the city of Rubizhne on the basis of the Educational and Research Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technology. The first-fourth year students took part in the Olympiad, who solved interesting problems in mathematical analysis, general algebra, linear algebra, number theory and elementary geometry.

The results of the participation of students of our institute in the Mathematics Olympiad:

  • I place – Kostiantyn Kiselev (2nd year student majoring in Secondary Education (Mathematics. Physics)ˮ,
  • II place – Yulia Liguta (4th year student majoring in Secondary Education (Mathematics. Computer Science)” and Hanna Krivushina (4th year student majoring in Secondary Education (Mathematics. Computer Science)”,
  • III place – Natalia Lemish (1st year student majoring in Software Engineering)”.
