The Faculty of Foreign Languages and the Institute of Culture and Arts celebrated the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University in Poltava.

A festive concert was timed to the holiday date. At the beginning of the event, the Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages Svitlana Shekhavtsova congratulated all those present on the occasion and wished her native university peace and prosperity. Director of the Institute of Culture and Arts, Nelya Nazarenko, joined the congratulations. Teachers of the faculty and institute were awarded with diplomas and letters of appreciation, which students and spectators welcomed with loud applause.

A lot of wonderful words, heartfelt thanks were said to our Alma Mater. Together with the participants of the Institute of Culture and Arts of our university, students of the faculty of foreign languages performed on the stage. The concert was attended by the best students of all courses and specialties “Secondary Education. Language and literature (English, German, Spanish, French, Chinese, Turkish) ”,“Musical art ”,“ Audiovisual art and production ”,“ Choreography ”. Touching and fervent songs, the performance of the dance group caused a flurry of applause and a sea of emotions among those present.

The full hall, the festive atmosphere and the high professionalism of the performers turned the first day of spring into a real celebration of pride in our university.
