Meeting with the Ambassador

In Poltava, on February 27, 2020, a meeting with representatives of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Ukraine was held.

The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Ukraine, J.V. Major General Zahid Mubashir Sheikh with embassy accompanying persons, the Chairman of the Research Council Vitalii Kurylo, the Dean of the Foreign Languages Department ​​Svitlana Shekhavtsova, the Director of the Institute of Culture and Arts Nelya Nazarenko and the staff of the International Department of the university.

Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, J.V. Major General ZahidMubashir Sheikh visited the university to discuss ways of cooperation between the SI “LuhanskTaras Shevchenko National University” and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the state and level of bilateral support in the field of education, and also discussed the potential for training Pakistan applicants and their specialties at the university.

As a result of the meeting, successive steps of cooperation between the SI “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” and the leading universities of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan were identified.

Mr. Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, J.V. Major General ZahidMubashir Sheikh assured the university management that in the near future there will be a meeting of the chairman of the Research Council VitaliiKurylowith representatives of universities of Islamic Republic of Pakistan in Islamabad.
