Maslenitsa at the Faculty of Natural Sciences

The Faculty of Natural Sciences has celebrated Maslenitsa. 

Maslenitsa is an ancient Slavic holiday that has remained since the days of pagan culture and has survived to this day. In Ukraine, Maslenitsa is traditionally celebrated magnificently. From ancient times pancakes were baked on Maslenitsa as a symbol of warmth, sun, victory of spring over winter.
