Third round of All-Ukrainian Olympiads

In February 2020, the All-Ukrainian Programming and Information Technology Olympiads were held on the basis of the Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technologies. 

On February 1, 2020, at the Educational and Research Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technologies, the third stage of the All-Ukrainian Olympiad in programming was held, and on February 22, 2020 was the third round of the All-Ukrainian Olympiad in information technologies.

Each of the olympiads began with a welcoming speech by the Director of the ER IPMIT Hennadii Mohylnyi. He congratulated pupils, wished good results and expressed the hope that the winners would adequately represent the region at the All-Ukrainian level. Subsequently, the chairman of the jury explained the rules of the Olympiad.

The Programming Olympiad was held in one practical tour, during which pupils solved multilevel tasks, the solution of which could be automatically transferred for verification. Depending on the number of successfully passed tests, the program automatically scored points for the participants. The IT Olympiad was held in two rounds – theoretical and practical.

We are sure that the participants of the Olympiad will develop the IT industry of Ukraine and introduce information technologies.
