On February 15, the student social service of LTSNU visited the charitable foundation “SOS Children’s Village” under the direction of Olena Dukhova. 

Valentine’s Day is a wonderful holiday when you want to give your love to everyone, and, above all, children. These are little angels who believe in miracles and await their implementation.

So, on this most romantic day in the whole world, on the initiative of the student social service of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, a theatrical performance took place in the charitable foundation “SOS Children’s Village”.

Volunteer students Olena Glushchenko, Oleksandr Kakapich, Valerii Pyzhov and Roman Bordiuh, under the leadership of Olena Dukhova, turned into images of a devil and an angel and told the kids the legend about the priest Valentyn and the origin of this holiday, played fun games with them and held competitions.

Cheerful kids willingly participated and easily completed all the tasks. In the discussion on the topic, “Is there love?” The children actively expressed their opinions and tried to convince each other of this. At the end of the event, the volunteers gave the children the valentines and sweet gifts.

Children are real happiness, so it’s a pleasure to hold such events. They fill us with kindness and love, especially on this bright holiday.
