Internship for educators in Finland

From January 31 to February 10, 2020, representatives of the Faculty of Foreign Languages completed an internship for educators in Finland.
The internship for teachers, which took place in Finland (West Finland College, Guittinen city) from January 31 to February 10, 2020, was successfully completed by the Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages Svitlana Shekhavtsova and the head of the Romance and Germanic Philology Department Byndas Olena.
The purpose of the scientific internship was to develop a project-based approach to the organization of the educational process in educational institutions in Finland, combined with an intensive study of English at West Finland College in an international multicultural environment using active communication techniques and knowledge of Finland’s culture.
During the project, the participants attended a number of educational events: a meeting with a representative of the education department at the city hall of Guittinen, a visit to kindergarten, a visit to primary school, a visit to the gymnasium, a visit to the University of Finland.
According to the results of training, participants received certificates on the result of the internship in the form of 120 hours of classroom work and independent work, as well as the level of English language.
Romance and Germanic Philology Department
