The success of the university basketball team

On February 8, the men’s team of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University took part in the Open Basketball Cup of the Luhansk region among amateur teams.

Competitions were held in the village of Troitske. Our team confidently played games and received all victories over the youth club “Orli”a (64:15), the combined team of Troitske (55:39), the youth sports school No. 1 of Severodonetsk city (66:33) and the children’s and youth sports school No. 2 of Severodonetsk city (76:27). Having shown a good game, the university team became the owner of the Cup.

In addition to the victory, the team carried out career guidance work. Players invited young people to enter Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, where, along with the provision of educational services, the student is guaranteed active leisure of his choice, and sport is one of the leading places.
