The final certification of master’s students

 The final certification of graduates began at the Educational and Research Institute of Culture and Arts. It was opened by master’s students majoring in “Choreography”, who demonstrated their own performances on the stage.

Viacheslav Vladykovych Vitovskyi, Honored Artist of Ukraine, Associate Professor of the Department of Choreography of the Institute of Arts of the Borys Grinchenko Kyiv University, was invited as the chairman of the examination committee.

The commission and all comers had the opportunity to see the performances of master’s students on the stage and feel the real atmosphere of the dance festival. It is pleasant to note that this year, graduates preferred the Ukrainian theme and illustrated outstanding literary works with their choreographic works.

Lyric and pinched composition by Anastasia Chub based on Lesia Ukrainka’s drama extravaganza “Forest Song”, the sad and acutely social production by Oleksii Bilobrov “Les Miserables” based on the poem by Taras Shevchenko “Katerina”, production by Vladislav Onishchenko based on the novel by Vsevolod Nestaiko “Toreadors from Vasiukivka”, Anna Petrik’s “Evening” – all these works demonstrated the possibilities and potential of attracting the literary and cultural heritage of the Ukrainian people for the inspiration of contemporary choreographers.

In general, all the staging works of master’s students were devoted to interesting and relevant topics (culture of the East, love and fidelity), were distinguished by originality and professionalism.

The Institute of Culture and Arts congratulates its master’s students on the successful completion of studies and is proud of their achievements.
