The best athlete is a student of the IPES

According to the version of Athletics of Ukraine in December 2019, the best athlete became a student of the Educational and Research Institute of Physical Education and Sports.

Experts (FLAU Council), media and fans participated in the voting for the best athletes of the month according to the version of Athletics of Ukraine.

In determining the best athlete in December 2019 in Ukraine, Bohdana Semenova, 4th year student majoring in “Physical Culture and Sports. Sports”, won. By the number of first places in three categories, it was Bohdana who was ahead of all her rivals.

After lightning victories at the Championships of Ukraine at distances of 8 km, 10 km (result 34:54:29 min) and 5 km, Bohdana received a ticket to participate in the European Athletics U-23 Championships.

After winning the Ukrainian 6 km Cross-Country Championship, Bohdana successfully performed at the Balkan Games in Montenegro. At a distance of 6 km, she won a silver medal, and as a member of the national team of Ukraine she took first place and received gold.

The decisive performance for the nomination was the European Athletics U-23 Championships in December, where at a distance of 6 km she showed a result of 21:56 min.
