Meeting-Requiem

LNU and public organizations of Starobilsk conducted a meeting-requiem.

The meeting-requiem in honor of the dead soldiers in the East of Ukraine was conducted on August 24 at the central square of Starobilsk. On the Independence Day of Ukraine the activists of Starobilshchyna and LNU students were reciting the poems about the war, written by the soldiers, their nearest and dearest. Thus, people honored the defenders of Ukrainian independence.

This day was full with feeling and touching words. Our students said a prayer for peace in Ukraine which they appeal to God at the St. Volodymyr’s Cathedral Patriarchal Church every day.

In conclusion, everybody combined yellow and blue balloons into single indivisible truss and left it into the sky as a sign that Ukraine is a sovereign indivisible country.
