“Goodness Relay”

LNU joined the charity auction “Goodness Relay”.

The charity auction dedicated to Starobilsk Town Day and Day of the National Flag of Ukraine was conducted on August 23 at the Green Theatre. It was organized by public organization “Ukrainian Association of Participants in Military Actions and Volunteers of ATO of Starobilsk District” and newspaper “Starobilshchyna Vistnyk”. It is not the first time when LNU is a partner of charity events in Starobilsk.

Luhansk National University organized two master-classes. All interested were teaching how to create woman’s talisman – rag doll and Ukrainian style hair decorations. The auction presented beautiful and interesting things made by our students, in particular, handmade soap and Ukrainian symbols. The raised money was put into a box and sent to other cities. Thus, “Goodness Relay” will be continuing in the future. The collected funds will be sent to the war-scarred in the east of Ukraine.
