Meeting with representatives of the special forces

On the occasion of the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, a meeting of students and teachers with representatives of the special police unit “KORD” took place at the Institute of Physical Education and Sports. 

Service in this police unit is dangerous, but it is difficult to enter it. In addition to strong physical training, it is necessary to compose a whole range of psychological tests. By the way, graduates of our university also serve in this unit.

The military spoke about interesting moments from everyday life in this police unit. Those present in the hall asked many questions about the difficulties of work, the risks of the danger of labor in the special unit, etc. At the end of the meeting, the Director of the Institute Yurii Poluliashenko handed the fighters t-shirts with the logo of the Institute and the inscription “Luhansk is Ukraine” and thanked for the interesting meeting.

The military did not come empty-handed, but brought with them military equipment that they use daily, risking their lives. This is a weapon, protective equipment as well as medical means to save lives. In the end, everyone had the opportunity to try on military equipment, which generally weighed more than 20 kg, as well as take pictures against the background of the national flag!
