Ukrainian Flag Day in Starobilsk

Celebrations dedicated to the Day of the National Flag of Ukraine were conducted in Starobilsk.

A number of events were held on August 23 in Starobilsk. In the morning a memorial to the dyed ATO soldiers was unveiled. The defenders were honored by the leaders of local government, military men of “A” sector, representatives of city power structures, public organizations, church and youth. The teachers and employees of Luhansk National University paid the tribute to the memory of the dyed for the Independence of Ukraine, laid wreathes and flowers to the monument.

Also there was a holiday concert dedicated to Starobilsk Town Day and the Day of the National Flag of Ukraine. It was performed by the groups of Starobilshchyna.
