Basketball Competitions

Basketball competitions were held as part of the Institute’s Spartakiad at the Institute of Physical Education and Sports.

Competitions were held in a circle in three rounds.

In the first round, the following results were shown:

1st year students – 4th year students – 29:21;

3rd year students – 2nd year students – 32: 6;

The second round:

3rd year students – 4th year students – 32: 6;

1st year students – 2nd year students – 38:22;

The third, final round put all the points in the standings with the results:

3rd year students – 4th year students – 9:20;

1st year students – 2nd year students – 57:19.

Four combined teams won places in the standings. IV place left for the combined team of the 2nd year students. The second stage of the pedestal was taken by third-year students. II place was taken by the team of the 4th year students. and the winner became the team of the 1st year students. 

All teams were awarded with appropriate certificates, and the winning team also received a sweet prize from the directorate.

On this day, players from each team were also awarded, namely Vladyslav Hryhorenko (1st year, specialty “Physical Culture and Sports. Sport”), Maksym Radchenko (2nd year, specialty “Physical Culture and Sports. Sports”), Mykyta Kalita (3rd year, specialty SE “Physical Culture”) and Vitalii Kondratenko (4th year, specialty “Physical Culture and Sports. Sport”), who were also awarded by the directorate.
