A video conference was held at the Department of Algebra and Systems Analysis about the pre-defense of master’s works.
November 22, 2019 at the Department of Algebra and System Analysis of the Educational and Research Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Information Technology, pre-defense of master’s theses of students majoring in “Secondary Education (Mathematics)” took place.
The event was held in the form of a video conference using Skype. It was attended by 15 master students and 4 teachers of the Department. Among the conference participants were also experienced teachers who study at our University. The aim of the conference was the exchange of scientific information in the field of teaching mathematics. The Department of Algebra and System Analysis has been conducting such a scientific event for several years.
At the opening of the video conference, the head of the Department of Algebra and System Analysis, Doctor of Physics and Mathematics, Professor Anatolii Zhuchok made a welcoming speech. Next, students presented their master’s works. It should be noted that the conference topics included, first of all, methods and means of teaching mathematics. The tasks that were discussed at the conference are more related to the digitalization of education. Therefore, the successful holding of the conference provided the basis for practical application. When reviewing scientific works, teachers gave recommendations to master students to improve the content, design work and preparation for defense.
We wish master students fruitful work, further successes and achievements in scientific activity!
