Students majoring in Commodity Research and Expertise in Customs and teachers visited the Poltava SRFC

Students and teachers of the University took part in an excursion to the Poltava Scientific Research Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

On November 28, 2019, students majoring in Commodity Research and Expertise in Customs and scientific and pedagogical workers of Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University took part in an excursion to the Poltava Scientific Research Forensic Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine (hereinafter – Poltava SRFC of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine).

During the tour to the Poltava SRFC of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, those present were acquainted with the specifics of the Expert Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine. The excursionists visited the laboratory of the center, talked with specialists in fingerprinting, pathology, handwriting, ballistic research and learned about various technical means and modern research technologies. Also problematic professional issues were discussed with specialists of the Poltava SRFC of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

The excursionists thanked the management and specialists of the Poltava SRFC of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine for the opportunity to get acquainted with the specifics of the Expert Service, in particular with the specifics of the work of forensic experts of the center and expanding the understanding of the practical aspects of conducting forensic examinations.
