Academic Council meeting

Today a scheduled meeting of the Academic Council took place at Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University.
The agenda included six main issues:
- about the election of the chairman of the Academic Council of the University;
- about the election of the deputy chairmen and secretary of the Academic Council of the University;
- about the internal system for ensuring the quality of education;
- competitive affairs;
- about the fulfillment by the editorial boards of the university’s periodicals of the requirements of the List of professional publications of Ukraine and scientometric databases and the results of using software to identify academic plagiarism in the work of specialized academic councils;
- miscellaneous.
On the first issue, the Academic Council elected Vitalii Kurylo as Chairman of the Academic Council by secret ballot. On the second issue, Serhii Savchenko was elected as the first deputy chairman of the Academic Council, and Nadiia Karlova was elected as deputy-secretary of the Academic Council.
