Composer’s benefit performance

On November 23, the composing benefit of the Professor of the Institute of Culture and Arts, Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University, Andrii Stashevskyi took place.

On November 23, in the Great Concert Hall of the Kharkiv Regional Philharmonic, was held a composing benefit of the Professor of the Institute of Culture and Arts, Honored Art Worker of Ukraine, Doctor of Art Criticism, member of the National Union of Composers of Ukraine Andrii Stashevskyi, dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the composer.

Andrii Yakovlevych Stashevskyi has been working at our university for twenty years. Along with pedagogy and scientific work, the composer leads the creative activity. His bayan works are often performed by young and famous domestic musicians, and symphonic music has firmly entered the repertoire of the Luhansk, Poltava and Kharkiv academic symphony orchestras, and has repeatedly sounded at the prestigious festival of modern Ukrainian music “Kyiv Music Fest”.

The program of this anniversary concert was performed by the Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Kharkiv Regional Philharmonic Society under the direction of the famous Ukrainian conductor, Honored Art Worker of Ukraine Yurii Yanko.
