Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University is actively conducting university-wide career guidance work.

According to the complex of promotional and career guidance measures to attract applicants to study at the State Institution “Luhansk Taras Shevchenko National University” for the 2019-2020 academic year, as part of the program for supporting a positive image of the educational institution, Marketing Department staff together with teachers from educational and research institutes, faculties, colleges, employees of the educational center of LTSNU “Donbas – Ukraine” conduct career guidance trips to secondary schools, gymnasiums, institutions of vocational technical education and higher education institutions of I – II levels of accreditation of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions.

Since October, staff of our University have visited 79 educational institutions in the cities of Severodonetsk, Lysychansk, Rubizhne and Kreminna, Milovskyi, Troitskyi, Bilokurakynskyi and Markivskyi districts.

During the meetings, graduates were informed about the areas of training and specialties in which training is carried out in universities, distributed printing handouts (price lists, booklets, calendars), demonstrated a university-wide video clip and videos from structural subdivisions of the university, invited future applicants to visit Open Day at the university.

During the conversation with teachers, pupils asked questions about the features of admission to our university, the conditions of study, scientific activity and student leisure.

The choice of a profession is a difficult question in the life of every senior pupils, and career guidance trips that are carried out by university employees help them to learn about the list of specialties at our University and make the right choice!
